Lakenham Residential Care Home is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. If you have a question about this notice or your information, contact the Manager at [email protected] or write to Lakenham Hill, Northam, Bideford, Devon, EX39 1JJ.

Information you send to us

When you use our enquiry form, we collect the name, email address, telephone number and message that you provide. The information is emailed securely to the home so that we can respond, arrange a visit or discuss the care enquiry. The website does not create a separate database copy of submitted enquiries.

We use this information where it is necessary to respond to your request, take steps you ask us to take before arranging services, and pursue our legitimate interest in answering genuine enquiries. Please avoid including detailed medical or other highly sensitive information in the website form; this can be discussed directly with the home by telephone.

We keep correspondence only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the enquiry, any resulting care arrangements, and applicable legal or safeguarding responsibilities. We do not sell personal information.

Cookies and similar storage

The website uses a necessary session cookie to protect the enquiry form. Your cookie choice is stored in your browser for up to 180 days so that we do not repeatedly ask you. These essential functions do not require consent.

Google Analytics is optional. Its script is not downloaded and its cookies are not set unless you select Accept analytics or enable analytics under Cookie settings. You can reject analytics and continue to use the whole website.

If permitted, Google Analytics provides aggregated information such as pages visited, general device and browser information, approximate location and how visitors reached the website. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the button. Rejecting analytics disables further measurement and removes the Analytics cookies that this website can access.

Who may receive information

Website enquiry information is available only to Lakenham staff who need it to respond and to service providers supporting the secure operation of the website or email. We may disclose information where required by law, regulation or safeguarding duties.
